This serie includes ten portraits of senior citizens from East-Berlin. They are painted in oil on canvas, size 60 x 80 cm, and are accompanied by short biographies, written by Dr. Hans-Albert Wulf who applied oral history methods. These biographies are focused on how these persons experienced the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and the years that followed.The portraits were first shown in December 2012, accompanied by a book, containing both the portraits and their respective short biographies.
